This past weekend, The Rhythm Shop set out for a destination wedding in Wellesley Island, New York. While it was both a long and tiresome trip, the band (and crew) rallied to give a killer performance, making The Lawlor/Rosen wedding  that much more special.

Being the talented and dedicated musicians they are, The Rhythm Shop played a wedding Saturday evening at The Venetian (which was also fantastic) until about 1 in the morning. From there, they traveled to our offices in East Hanover where they awaited a coach bus to head out to Upstate New York (nearing the border of Canada!)

By the time the band got on the road it was nearly 3 AM and quite understandably the musicians and crew were wiped out! However, as we’ve said in the past, the show must go on, and what a show it was! The location was picturesque–tying together both beautiful nautical scenery and elegant wedding decor. The wedding itself took place on a small island off of Alexandria Bay.

The band had to take a pontoon ride over to the tent! Good thing our musicians have both their stage and SEA legs.

It’s not unusual for our company to travel for weddings, it comes with the territory, and no matter the distance, Silver Pro Entertainment ensures excellence every step of the way in not only performance, but  staging, lighting, and sound as well. See the gallery below:

While destination weddings may seem more difficult to plan, they actually don’t have to be! The most important thing is to have organized, experienced, and talented vendors on your side making sure your event is the absolute best it can be. This weekend’s wedding was a true testament to that notion and Silver Pro Entertainment was honored to be apart of it!

A BIG thank you to  Laura and Kara over at My Bellissima for being such FANTASTIC planners and ensuring the band/crew’s needs were met every-step-of-the-way!

Be sure to stay tuned for more blog posts! We’ll be here, as always, entertaining the world one party at a time!

Now we’ll leave you with David Silver, leader of The Rhythm Shop and owner of the company, checking to see if there’s any chance his tuxedo will fit the bear!
